The Ambiente layout is designed over a gently rolling terrain with 71 sand bunkers strategically located near landing zones off the tee or situated greenside.
Tall native grasses also border much of the playing surface, adding aesthetic beauty and challenge for novices and skilled players alike. There are two par
threes and 2 par fives on each nine.
There are four sets of tee boxes that play to distance and slopes measuring 7225 yards/138 slope, 6630 yards/132 slope for men and 135 for women, 6123
yards/124 slope for men and 127 for women, and 5538 yards with a slope of 120 for ladies playing from the forward tees.
The practice facility is as comprehensive as you will find in the Scottsdale area. Facilities include a huge driving range, putting and chipping greens and
practice bunker. A beautifully designed clubhouse with restaurant, lounge, banquet center (for up to 300 people) and outdoor grill compliment what is now a
first class operation. Service at the bag drop, pro shop, starter booth and grill are top rate.
This is a highly recommended day of golf. Come early and work on your game. The GPS on each cart will provide you with course knowledge, and there are also 100/150/200
yardage markers on the fairways. The 150-yard stake is a great target on many holes. Obviously, the folks here did their homework when re-designing this property. If you are
looking for the complete golf experience, you will not be disappointed at the Camelback Golf Club.
