The Lodge at Ventana Canyon is host to two 18-hole championship golf courses. Designed by Tom Fazio (named "Architect of the Year" by Golf Digest), both the Mountain Course and the Canyon Course have won numerous awards. The third hole on the Mountain Course (pictured here) is the most photographed golf hole west of the Mississippi in the continental U.S. The Mountain Course was honored by Golf Digest for the best resort course in Arizona and by Golf Week for one of the nation's best courses.

Both the Hearthstone dining room and the Sierra Bar offer panoramic vistas of the Santa Catalina Mountains and the golf course.  The Sabino Terrace offers excellent dining in a natural outdoor environment.

How to get there:

On departure from the airport, Tucson Blvd.(exit road) will take you directly to Valencia Rd.  Turn right on Valencia to Kolb (approx. 5 mi.). 
Turn left on Kolb Rd. to Tanque Verde Rd. (approx. 7 mi.). Turn right on Tanque Verde and take a left onto Sabino Canyon Rd. (second light). Drive approx. 2 miles until you reach Kolb Rd. again (Sabino Canyon changes names to Kolb Road, just stay straight).  Drive north to the traffic signal at the corner of Kolb & Sunrise.  Go straight through the light at Sunrise and Kolb and The Lodge is .7 miles on your right (at the guard gate).  The guard will direct you to the Lodge entrance for check-in.
