Wekopa now offers 2 spectacular championship desert layouts. The original design by Scott Miller is now named the CHOLLA Course, and has earned a great many awards including 4 1/2 stars (Golf Digest Places to Play), highest overall course rating in Arizona (2006/07 Zagat Survey of America's top golf courses, voted # 1 Public Course in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area by local PGA Professionals (Desert Golf Magazine Oct/Nov 2003), # 38 in the nation by Golf Magazine, One of the Top 100 Best Golf Shops in America 2004, 05 and 06, and the course was also selected as on of the top 10 new courses in the world by Sports Illustrated in 2001! The new SAGUARO course, designed by Bill Moore and Ben Crenshaw and opened for public play on 12/16/06 - is a wonderful compliment to its established sister course. The Saguaro has already earned honors as one of the top 10 new courses in the country by Golf Magazine! What's more - there are no residential or commercial properties (nor will there ever be) on either course!

The resort property features 246 luxurious guest rooms and 24 suites, all with spectacular views of the desert and surrounding mountains. The majority of guestrooms boast Sleep Number beds for superior comfort and satisfaction.

All rooms provide wireless high speed Internet access, which is also available throughout the entire resort. Other standard amenities include refrigerators, honor bars, flat screen televisions, alarm clocks, work desks, and voice over IP telephones.

The Wassaja Conference Center features 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting space with six breakout rooms and 18,000-square-foot ballroom. The ballroom can be divided into 9 separate meeting spaces.

 All meeting facilities feature state-of-the-art video, audio and computer capabilities. For outdoor events, the resort offers a beautifully maintained 20,000 square foot banquet area surrounded with breathtaking mountain views.
