Built on the former site of TPC Scottsdale's Desert Course, the completely new Champions Course was designed by Heckenkemper to fit seamlessly into the natural desert terrain. "We
are very excited about showcasing this outstanding new course to local golfers and resort guests alike," said TPC Scottsdale General Manager Bill Grove. "We share this milestone
with the City of Scottsdale, Bureau of Reclamation and PGA TOUR, who collaborated more than 20 years ago to bring the City's first-ever golf course and the state's only TPC to
fruition. We are confident golfers will find the Champions Course to be an outstanding addition, offering a PGA TOUR-quality experience at fees commensurate with municipal golf
facilities."
Spacious clubhouse includes a wonderful pro shop (voted Top 100 in America) , locker rooms with showers, restaurant/lounge and outdoor patio with outstanding views of the course
and surrounding mountains. Practice facilities include a grass range, short game area with bunkers, and huge putting green. The FBR Phoenix Open is the largest spectator golf event
